V's Sporting Women
V readers are well-rounded individuals, who know the importance of balancing out mind, soul, and body. For many, their active lifestyle means an attention to sporting pursuits, from individual activities to team competitions: runners, bikers, hikers, rock climbers, scuba divers, equestrians, squash players, golfers, tennis players, roller derby teams, soccer players, softball teams, and so much more! The thrill and fulfillment of challenging the body and accomplishing a physical goal are to these women essential ingredients of a successful life.
Sporting Women Editor Aynsley M. Fisher is attuned to these readers, and provides articles focused on a variety of sporting women. Aynsley combines her talent for writing with her love of sports. Besides being a long-time equestrian, Aynsley is a soccer coach at The Steward School. She enjoys skiing, swimming, boating, and a multitude of outdoor sports. She has participated in Outward Bound type programs in outdoor experiences the rest of us never even begin to imagine. She knows firsthand the sports opportunities for women in Richmond, including RISE, SCOR, Sports Backers, and Richmond Road Runners. You can contact Aynsley at afisher at vmagazineforwomen.com.
