Who V Are

Tanya Griffith, Administrative Assistant, has been with V since fall of 2007 and loves lending her talents to benefit V readers, advertisers, and staff! With extensive professional experience in program administration, management, marketing, human resources and international education, Tanya strives to keep V’s administrative office on track and enjoys providing customer service with a personal touch. Whether distributing V, talking with callers or assisting advertising clients, she enjoys the varied connections experienced within the vibrant V community. Tanya is a graduate of Bluefield College and winner of the congressional Japan-US Senate Scholarship. She has lived, studied, worked and traveled abroad, most extensively in Ireland and Japan, and sports a passion for Italy and all things Italian! A freelance photographer, Tanya’s work has been featured in the Gallery at Richmond’s Crossroads Art Center, Pleasant Living magazine, V Magazine for Women, and in wedding albums across town. She enjoys contributing to the Richmond community through volunteer work with international students, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels. Tanya is also a passionate animal, nature and music lover! She brings not only a friendly personality that reflects V's focus on celebrating life and servicing customers with a smile, she also brings a wealth of life experience.
